    Great for current exercisers I already use a gym so when I became pregnant wanted to carry on doing so safely. This book is excellent, covering many different types of gym equipment and classes, swimming and running, and advising what is suitable for those who are or are not used to exercising. It breaks the advice down into trimesters and is written in a no-nonsense, friendly manner.     Great advice for active pregnancy I have used this book from very early on in my pregnancy. I like that it covers different types of sports/exercise classes in detail and gives alternatives to exercises that you should avoid from a certain stage in your pregnancy. It also has a very helpful section on your abdominal muscles and how they change (with drawings) which helps if you want to understand why you have to adapt/change certain exercises.
